62 Countries are now Visa-Free for Indian Nationals. View the complete list here
Travel enthusiasts can now look forward to exciting opportunities to explore diverse cultures, beautiful landscapes, and historical wonders without having to deal with the hassle of applying for visas, as an impressive 62 countries now grant visa-free entry to holders of Indian passports.
Many well-known tourist locations from Southeast Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Caribbean are included in this extensive list. Acknowledging the possibility of drawing Indian travelers, these nations have made it simpler for them to visit famous sites, immaculate beaches, and cultural hubs.
Thus, even though India's passport still ranks 80th in the world according to the Henley Passport Index, Indian passport holders can now visit 62 countries without a visa. Although India's overall ranking has not changed from the previous year, there are now much more visa-free locations than there were last year (57 versus 57).
As the world's most popular interactive passport sorting, rating, and display tool, the Henley Passport Index is based on information provided by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Its index measures the diplomatic reach and international accessibility of passports and acts as a barometer for the state of global mobility.
The six countries with the strongest passports this year are France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Singapore, and Spain, according to the ranking. The right to travel to 194 countries without a visa is granted to citizens of these countries.
Afghanistan, meanwhile, comes in last, allowing its people to enter just 28 countries without a visa. It is closely followed by Syria and Iraq, which provide entry to just 29 and 31 visa-free locations, respectively. This year, the Pakistani passport fared poorly as well, giving entry to only 34 nations.
This is a comprehensive list of nations that holders of Indian passports are able to visit without a visa. This expansion of visa-free travel opens up more possibilities for Indian tourists to participate in cross-cultural interactions and visit a wide range of international locations.
