Tours of the Dudhsagar Waterfall have finally resumed. 5 reasons to add this to your itinerary for Goa

Dudhsagar Falls tourist flows resumed yesterday after a deadlock. The jeep safaris transport the visitors back to the signature site after an out of order since three days earlier when a stalemate prevailed due to an argument among Dudhsagar Tour Operators Association members with the Goa Tourism Development Corporation regarding the disputes involving online bookings.
Reports from the latest sources indicate that jeeps are once again on their way to Dudhsagar Falls. As many as 110 vehicles that were registered offline with DTOA carried 770 tourists while the remaining 1,440 tourists who had booked their place online through GTDC's official portal were taken there by another 240 vehicles. IF reports indicate that the online booking system of GTDC would remain in place for a month. During this phase, the service provider is going to manage the web and registration of tourists online. The booking is still carried out offline at the DTOA counter, which means registering in person. At the end of the month, DTOA will take full control of the online registration process.

Five reasons to include a tour to the Dudhsagar Waterfall in your itinerary for Goa

Witness the majestic waterfall: -
This literal "Sea of Milk," Dudhsagar is rendered so because of the waters flowing down a height of more than 300 metres by the foamy and cascading waters of the fall. Located in the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary, Dudhsagar remains one of India's tallest and most powerful waterfalls. The best time for visiting the waterfall would naturally be during the post-monsoon season, or the month starting from October to March.

Take part in the exhilarating jeep safari in the jungle:-
The thrilling vehicle safari that transports you far into the Western Ghats is one of the special features of the Dudhsagar Waterfall excursion. The jeep ride passes under the canopy of tall trees, across little creeks, and down difficult, muddy trails. It's an exhilarating but rough ride.

Cool off with a refreshing swim: -
When you reach the bottom, take a refreshing plunge in the natural pool: cool water amidst the green and the roar of the waterfall - just what you might never know you needed.

Photographer’s dream destination: -
Dubsugar Waterfall is one of the most clicked waterfalls in India. The location is full of photogenic elements. Right from beautiful green foliage to cascading water drops, there isn't enough that you won't be able to catch through your lens.

Check out Goa’s lesser-known wilderness:-
The Dudhsagar Waterfall tour gives you a chance to explore the raw, untouched wilderness of Goa. This is a part of Goa, often overshadowed by the beaches and nightlife, yet it has its own charm that adventurous souls and nature lovers cannot resist. Diverse flora and fauna house the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary, where the waterfall is located, giving one a glimpse into the Western Ghats' biodiversity.
