Kochi – Alleppey

Kochi – Alleppey [approx 1hrs 30min/53km]: Upon arrival at Kochi railway station or airport; our special vehicle will pick you up & proceed to Alleppey. Arrival at Alleppey check in to the houseboat.

• A day cruise along the backwaters to enjoy the country side.

Alleppey – Kumarakom

Alleppey – Kumarakom [approx 1hrs/34km]: After breakfast check out from the houseboat & proceed to Kumarakom. Arrival at Kumarakom. Check in the house boat @ 11:30 am. The boat will start the cruise after a small brief by our staff about your trip @ 12 noon. The boat will take you through r block and c block (r block and c block are man-made paddy fields made from lake during the rule of the King and here cultivation happens below sea level) and will pass through Venattukad, Munattumugham. The boat will park at 05:30pm. The guest has the option to see the village life after the parking.

Kumarakom – Thekkady

Kumarakom – Thekkady [approx 4hrs/122km]: After breakfast check out from the hotel & proceed to Thekkady. Enroute visit:

Thekkady: After breakfast proceed to visit:

• Periyar National Garden enjoy Boating - Thekkady is boating in the lake Periyar near the Mullaperiyar Dam. Boating takes around two hours and if you are lucky and one is often lucky, you will spot wild animals herding in to drink the lake water particularly in the early hours of the day. This place is a photographer joy so if you love photography just click on. The Forest Department offers many programs including Periyar Tiger Trail, Nature walk, Bamboo Rafting (to visit Periyar National garden reach here before 2.00 p.m. and should book national park boating tickets in advance)
• Mangala Devi Kannaki Temple [If time permits]
• Evening free for leisure & shopping.

Thekkady – Cochin

Thekkady – Cochin [approx 4hrs 30min/155km]: After breakfast check out from the hotel & proceed to Kochi. Arrival at Kochi visit:

• Marin Drive OR Lulu Mall perhaps one of the biggest (in area) in south India. – [10am – 10:00pm] – [if time permits].

Later proceed to Cochin railway station or airport to board the train or flight for hometown.
