Haridwar – Barkot

Haridwar – Barkot [approx 7hrs/176km] HT : 1352 MTS:Upon arrival at Haridwar railway station; our special vehicle will pick you up & proceed to Barkot via Mussoorie. Enroute visit:

• Kempty fall (Suggestible to have your lunch at Kempty fall as further no good restaurants are available before Barkot).

Later drive straight to Barkot, transfer to your Hotel. Rest of the day is free to relax and store your energy for the Pahad (hiII) Yatra of Yamunotri the next day. Overnight stay at Barkot.

Barkot Weather – Generally pleasant in summer, the temperature ranges from 25-30 degree Celsius, Winter: The Days are pleasantly cool but the nights are cold, temp ranges from 10 deg to 05 deg.

With packed breakfast & post Tea/ Coffee leave for Gangotri early in the morning. Offering prayers & pooja darshan, later drive back to Uttarkashi. Enroute visit:

• Gangnani take a holy dip in Garam Kund,

Further drive to Gangotri via beautiful Harsil Valley.

• Harsil is famous for its nature beauty and for the majestic views of the Deodar trees, and mountains.

On arrival at Shree Gangotri, take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform Pooja and Darshan, after that relax for some time in the lovely surroundings. Return back to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

Uttarkashi – Guptkashi – Sitapur

Uttarkashi – Guptkashi – Sitapur [approx 9hrs/290km]: Leave very early in the morning with packed breakfast for almost day long drive to Sitapur via Guptkashi. On your drive you would pass through Ganga giving way to:

• Tehri Dam (The Hydro Electric Project).

Sitapur – Gaurikund – Kedarnath & back

Sitapur – Gaurikund – Kedarnath & back [approx 19Kms Trek One Side/ 7hrs]: Morning drive to Sonprayag – Gaurikund (03kms drive-one way). On arrival Gaurikund start your journey on the tough trek ahead. On arrival Kedarnath freshening up, perform Pooja and also Darshan at Shri Kedarnathji & back to Sitapur.

Amidst the dramatic mountains capes of the majestic Kedarnath range stands one of the twelve 'Jyotirlingas' of Kedar or Lord Shiva. Lying at an altitude of 3584 mts. on the head of river Mandakini, the shrine of Kedarnath is amongst the holiest pilgrimages for the Hindus.

By Helicopter: Morning our driver will transfer you your pre book Helipad. You can inform driver about your arrival time whether it will by helicopter or by trek, so that Driver will be there to pick you up.

(Note: helicopter ticket is not included in this package).

By Trek: Morning our driver will drop you at Gaurikund then your trek start for Kedarnath ji. After darshan you follow same & back to Gaurikund. There is big parking issue so driver will back to other palace if his contact no. in not working then you have to arrange other taxi or wait for your driver.

Sitapur – Pipalkoti/ Joshimath

Sitapur – Pipalkoti/ Joshimath [approx 8hrs/180km]: After breakfast check out from the hotel & proceed to Pipalkoti. Arrival at Pipalkoti. Check in to the hotel. Get freshen up.

Pipalkoti/Joshimath – Badrinath

Pipalkoti/Joshimath – Badrinath [approx 3hrs/60km]: After breakfast check out from the hotel & proceed to Badrinath via Joshimath:

Badrinath – Pipalkoti – Rudraprayag [approx 7hrs/160km]:

• Early morning, pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal. Brahamakapal is significant for Pind dan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). Joshimath is situated on the slopes above the confluence of the rivers Alaknanda and Dhauliganga. Of the four Maths established by Adi Shankaracharya, Joshimath is the winter seat of Badrinath.

Late morning after breakfast drive to Rudraprayag enroute visiting:

• Vishnuprayag
• Karnprayag
• Nandprayag

Vishnuprayag where two river confluences Dhauli Ganga & Alaknanda, Karnprayag (confluence of river Pindari and river Alaknanda) Rudraprayag(confluence of river Mandakini and Alaknanda River). We can also visit to:

• Evening Aarti at Maharudranath Temple.
• Koteshwar Mahadev. [If time permits].

Rudraprayag – Haridwar

Rudraprayag – Haridwar [approx 6hrs/161km]: After breakfast check out from the hotel & proceed to Haridwar en-route visit:

• Devprayag
• Rishikesh (Ram Jhula & Laxman Jhula, Gita Mandir).

Later proceed to Haridwar railway station to board the train for hometown.
