Siliguri – Phuntsholing [approx 5hrs/155km]: After breakfast check out from the hotel & proceed to Phuntsholing. Arrival at Phuntsholing visit:

• Bhutan Gate – [Bhutan gate is an interesting gateway to the country of Gross National Happiness. What makes this national boundary more appealing is the fact that it is more peaceful and we feel the friendly relationship in the air, no loaded ammunition, no feeling of tension, but serenity and happiness in the backdrop. The Bhutan gate is in Phuntsholing village, a border village of Indo-bhuta but if you visit the other side of Bhutan that is India side you can see the fully crowded roads with street vendors. Even Bhuanese come this side for their day to day shopping.

Phuntsholing – Thimphu

Phuntsholing – Thimphu [approx 5hrs/149km]: Morning after completing the formalities of permit. Later proceed to Thimpu- to Thimphu - the capital city of Bhutan. Upon arrival at Thimphu visit:

• Folk Heritage Museum – [09:00am – 05:00pm – Sunday Closed].
• Traditional Paper Factory
• Institute for Zorig Chusum (Handi crafts School) also known as the painting school – [09:00am – 05:00pm – Saturday & Sunday Closed].
• National Institute of Traditional Medicine – [Monday to Friday – 09:00am – 05:00pm & Saturday – 09:00am – 01:00pm – Sunday Closed].
• Motithang mini zoo Where you can see the national animal of Bhutan Takin – [09:00am – 05:00pm]
• Evening free time for shopping.

Thimpu

Thimpu: Morning after breakfast complete the permit formalities for Phobjikha. Later visit:

• Buddha Point where you can get a good overview of the Thimphu valley. – [09:00am – 05:00pm]. 
• BBS Tower.
• Tango Monastery. Tango Monastery is a Buddhist college and residence of Desi – [09:00am – 06:00pm].
• Tenzin Rabgye, a young boy who is the reincarnation of the 16th-century monk who built Tango.
• King's Memorial Chorten (Monument) – [09:00am – 05:00pm].
• Chang Gangkha – one of the oldest monasteries in the valley. – [06:00am – 06:00pm].

Thimpu – Punakha – Paro

Thimpu – Punakha [approx 3hr /84km] – Paro [approx 4hrs/126km]: After Breakfast check out from the hotel & proceed to Punakha. Enroute visit:

• Dochu la Pass
• Druk Wangyel Monastery

Punakha is the administrative headquarter of Punakha Dzongkhag district of Central Bhutan

• Punakha Dzong.

Later proceed to Paro. Arrival at Paro. Check in tot the hotel. Get freshen up.

Paro

Paro: After breakfast proceed to visit: 

• Taktshang Monastery view point (Tiger's Nest). The trail climbs through beautiful pine forest, many of the trees festooned with Spanish moss. It will take total 7 hours to climb up and come back. But a beautiful place to visit. – [08:00am – 01:00pm – 02:00pm – 06:00pm]
