Srinagar

Srinagar: Upon arrival at Srinagar airport; our special vehicle will pick you up & proceed to Srinagar Houseboat. Check in to the houseboat. Get freshen up. After freshen up proceed to visit Mughal Gardens: [Below sightseeing is possible only if time permits. Depending upon the arrival of the flight or Train program of the day will be decided by the tour leader.]

  • Nishat (The garden of Delight) – [09:00am – 07:00pm]
  • Shalimar (The Garden of love) – [09:30am – 06:30pm]
  • Chasma-shahi (The Royal Spring) – [09:00am – 07:00pm]

  • Shankaracharya temple – [08:00am – 05:00pm]

Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar

Srinagar – Gulmarg [approx 2hrs/51km] – Srinagar:  Morning after breakfast, you will proceed towards Gulmarg, (51kms. from Srinagar);

  • Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and highest golf course with 18 holes. If weather permits one can also have the view of Nanga Parbat, the naked mountain that is over 26,000 feet’s and dominates the entire region,

Full day leisure visit:

  • Around amazing scenery of Gulmarg and visit to Aparwath by Asia’s largest cable car (Gondola ticket at Your Own). Evening return back to the hotel. Have Dinner.

Srinagar – Sonmarg – Kargil

Srinagar – Sonmarg [approx 3hrs/79km] – Kargil [approx 4hrs/123km]: After breakfast check out from the hotel & proceed to Kargil Via Sonmarg “The meadow of gold. Situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft. Sonmarg is at a distance of 84Kms from Srinagar is also called as “The meadow of gold” .Sonmarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. The place is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lake. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer.

Later proceed to Kargil. Visit

  • Glorious War Memorial in the Drass town, situated at the foothill of the Tololing Hills – [10:00am – 05:00pm]
  • Enroute, you will proceed towards a magnificent view of Kargil war famous peaks (Tiger, Tololing)

Arrival at Kargil. Check in to teh hotel. Get freshen up rest of the day & personal activities. Have dinner

Kargil – Leh

Kargil – Leh [approx 5hrs/217km]: Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel, & proceed towards Leh (217, kms from Kargil), Leh Ladakh is a high altitude mountainous region bounded by the Karakoram Range from the north and the Grate Himalayas in the south. Leh acclimatization & Local Sightseeing: Morning after breakfast and the Morning are at leisure for rest of body acclimatization and afternoon, you will proceed towards

  • Shanti Stupa, it is a beautiful Stupa which holds the relics of Buddha, it’s a religious attraction – [05:00am – 09:00pm]
  • Sankar Gompa – [07:00am – 10:00am – 05:00pm – 07:00pm]
  • Explore the Local Market

Leh – Nubra Valley

Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass [approx 5hrs/160km]: After breakfast check out from the hotel & proceed to Nubra Valley.

  • Nubra valley-It is a tri-armed valley located to the north east of Ladakh valley. You will go through world’s highest motorable pass, The Khardung La. The average altitude of the valley is about 10,000 ft. i.e. 3048 metres above the sea level. The drive is along Shyok River and its river deserts and Oasis. Nubra has acquired fame for its sand dunes, the cold desert that surrounds it, also enjoy Bactrian camels and its breath-taking natural beauty Dinner and Overnight stay at Hunder. Rest of the day one is free to explore Deskit 
  • Hunder villages and camel safari in sand dunes between Deskit and Hunder village.

Nubra Valley – Pangong

Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake [approx 7hrs/240kms]: Morning after breakfast check out from the Nubra camp, you will proceed towards Pangong lake (160kms from Nubra) via Shyok, Pangong Lake, which is also known as Pangong Tso is one of the most beautiful Lakes in India. It is Located in the Himalayas and is as long as 134 km long. The lake extends from India to china.  The lake is situated at a height of 4350mtrs and is one of the best tourist attractions in India. The majestic beauty of this lake attracts people from all over India and abroad. The most beautiful thing about this lake is that it changes its colors.  Arrival Pangong lake check in camp (Alt 14, 500ft) is 5-6 kms wide and over 134kms long, two-thirds of which lies on the other side of the indo-china border sightseeing, 03 idiot shooting sightseeing. Pangong – Leh

Pangong Lake – Leh [approx 5hrs/223km]: Morning after breakfast check out from Pangong camp, you will proceed towards Leh (150.kms from Leh), En route we can take a short halt at Changla Pass (17,586 feet) the third highest pass of the world to enjoy a cup of hot steaming tea. En Route we stop by at:

  • Hemis Monastery is the largest such structure in central Ladakh – [08:00am – 01:00pm – 02:00pm – 06:00pm]
  • Thiksay, this monastery is located at an altitude of 3,600 metres (11,800 ft) in the Indus Valley – [07:00am – 07:00pm]
  • Shey, this Monastery was also built in 1655; the monastery is noted for its giant copper with gilded gold statue of a seated Shakyamuni Buddha – [06:00am – 01:ppm – 01:30:pm – 06:00pm]

  • Sindhu Ghat

Leh – Sarchu

Leh – Sarchu [approx 7hrs/250km]: Morning after Breakfast check out from the Leh Hotel, you will proceed towards Sarchu (250kms from Leh). Sarchu is the Zanskar Range remains to be crossed and this takes two more passes, the La Chung-La (5,059m) and the Tanglang La (5,325m). En-route we visit the famous monastery of Hemis. Leh is rapidly spreading in all directions from its original position beneath the long abandoned Namgyal Palace. Sarchu – Manali

Chandigarh: After breakfast check out from the hotel & proceed to Chandigarh railway station or airport to board the train or flight for hometown.
