2. HOHO Bus

HOHO which stands for Hop On Hop Off are the; “buses that ply throughout the day between/on a route hosting multiple tourist attractions with designated but limited stops”
These buses are a huge hit in the majority of cities abroad as they offer;

  • Unlimited to & fro rides
  • Tourists can select their own pace to travel and can get on and off multiple times during the day
  • Buses ply at regular intervals with good frequency
  • Affordable

On par with this global touristy bandwagon and with an aim of enticing tourists. BEST too has recently introduced Hop On Hop Off buses that will ply between CSMT to Juhu every 30 mins between 9:00 am to 8 pm. BEST has deployed a dedicated fleet of 10 Electric buses for this. So, Hop-On and see the famous tourist spots on the way like CSMT, Siddhivinayak Temple, Byculla Zoo / Bhau Daji Lad Museum, Nehru Science Centre/ Nehru Planetarium, Mani Bhavan, Band Stand Bandra, Juhu Garden, Juhu Chowpatty, Hanging Garden, Aquarium, Museum and Gateway of India. All these places at your own pace and much more. That too on the SINGLE reasonably priced ticket.

6. WATER TAXI

Standing near the coastline with naked eyes one could clearly see the part of the hinterland. However, think of reaching there… and the treacherous journey of 2.5 hours awaits you.
But, NO MORE…

Decade plus long wait is finally anticipated to end soon, as Water Taxis connecting Ferry Wharf in South Mumbai to various locations in Navi Mumbai like Belapur, Nerul, Karanja, Rewas and more is all set to launch anytime soon.

These Water Taxis will just take 25 mins on a scenic, breezy sea to reach either side as against dreadful on-road journey of 2 hours. Water Taxis are slated to ply at regular intervals between 8:00 am to 8:00 pm both ways.  However, they will come at an exorbitant ONE WAY cost range between Rs 750/- to Rs 1500/- per passenger. Ensure to hop in and experience the ride that is slated to be SUPERHIT.
